Because Augos names operators to make coaching fair, it treats that data with care. Here's how personal information is handled under POPIA, and what happens to the data you measure.

In brief

Augos is the responsible party for the personal information it processes, and processes it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For South African data subjects, personal information is processed within the Republic. The production data you measure is yours: Augos doesn't sell or share identifiable data without your written consent, and uses anonymised, aggregated data only to improve the platform. You have full access to your data and can export it throughout your contract; storage, retention and termination are covered under Data security & storage.

Named operators, handled fairly

The people reports name operators so coaching lands where it helps, and that makes the data personal information. So access to it is scoped per line and per role, named data can be masked before anything is shared outside the organisation, and the metrics are built to be fair rather than punitive: performance is judged on the median, so one bad day doesn't define anyone, and against the line's own best rather than an external standard. Measured clumsily, people work around a system; measured fairly, they trust it.
