Common questions.

Do you sell or install the solar, battery or other asset?

No, and that's the point. Augos measures and verifies; we don't sell the asset, so the data and the figures have no stake in the outcome.

Can you size a solar or battery system for us?

We provide the measured load profile correct sizing depends on, and our CEM, CMVP and Pr Tech Eng advisors can evaluate the options. The installer designs and supplies it; we keep the measurement independent.

How do you verify what a vendor delivers?

Measurement and verification aligned to IPMVP and SANS 50010, measured from our own calibrated meters, separate from the vendor's own figures.

The developer already gives us monitoring. Why pay for this?

Their portal reports their own numbers, the ones they bill you on. Augos measures independently, from our own calibrated meters, so you can check those figures instead of taking them on trust.

We haven't bought anything yet. Is this still useful?

That's when it's most useful. A full cycle of measured load sizes the asset correctly before you commit the capital.

Do we have to use the Augos platform?

No. The data is yours in standard formats and through the API, for your own tools. The full Augos suite is included if you would rather work on it directly.

What assets does this cover?

Solar, battery storage, PPAs, wheeling and virtual wheeling, backup gensets, and onsite generation such as biogas and cogeneration.

Do we need new meters?

Augos installs its own billing-accuracy meters at the relevant points. That calibrated, independent measurement is what makes the data trustworthy in a deal.
