The problem

You're accountable for energy reporting, but have no single, reliable source of data.

Some sites are metered, some aren't. The data that does exist is scattered across bills, spreadsheets and systems that don't match, so every report starts with someone gathering and cleaning it by hand.

01

Time-consuming

Pulling it together by hand takes time, and starts over every reporting period.

02

Hard to trust

With so much pulled together by hand, you can't be sure the numbers are right.

03

Inconsistency

Each site is built its own way, so the numbers never sit side by side or trend over time.

04

Blind spots

Some sites have no metering at all, so whole parts of the report have no data behind them.

The solution

Augos, your complete
energy reporting toolbox.

We install billing-accuracy meters at every site, and the platform collects and standardises the data automatically. From there you report however you need: on the platform, exported to Excel or your own systems, or as an AI-ready package for your tools.

01

Automated collection

The data is captured and delivered automatically, so the manual gathering disappears.

02

One platform

Every site and meter in one place, however many you run.

03

Standardised

Every site comes in the same format and structure, so the numbers line up.

04

Measure anything

Electricity, water, fuel, gensets, solar and more, all on the platform.

How it works

Three steps to report-ready data.

Augos does the measuring and keeps the data clean and consistent. How you report from it is up to you, on the platform or in the tools you already use.

1

Measure every site

Billing-accuracy meters capture electricity, water, gas and fuel at each point, streaming to one platform.

2

Standardised and ready

The platform cleans and standardises the data, ready on the platform, as an export, or as an AI-ready package.

3

Produce your reports

Report straight from the platform, or take the data to your auditor, tools or AI, and answer Scope, ISO 50001 and disclosure on numbers that hold up.

What you get

One dataset, every report you answer to.

Augos provides the measured energy data, in the format you prefer, giving you a single, standardised dataset to feed into your own reporting platforms.

FAQs

Common questions.

Does Augos calculate our carbon emissions?

We provide the measured energy and activity data, the defensible base. Emission factors depend on your source and region, so you, or your tools and AI, apply them to derive CO2e. That keeps the carbon figure accurate and auditable.

What format does the data come in?

Whatever suits your reporting. The same measured dataset exports as Excel, Sheets or CSV, pulls through a scriptable API, or comes as an AI-ready package with handling notes, so it drops straight into the tools you already use.

Can this support a 12L tax claim?

Yes, as the measured data behind it. A 12L claim pays around 95c/kWh of verified energy savings, and the saving must be verified by a SANAS-accredited M&V body to SANS 50010. We provide the calibrated measurement that verification is built on; the accredited body signs it off.

Does it help with carbon tax, carbon budgets and NGER reporting?

Yes. These all run on measured energy and fuel data. Augos gives you the calibrated figures behind your carbon tax calculation, your carbon budget submission and your NGER report, with emission factors applied by you or your tools.

Does this give us a finished ISO 50001 report?

No. It gives the measured baseline, energy performance indicators and verification evidence an ISO 50001 energy management system relies on. You or your assessor build the report on that base. Augos provides the data, not the certification.

Do we have to use the Augos platform?

No. The data is yours in standard formats and through the API, so it feeds the reporting and BI tools you already run. The full Augos suite is included if you would rather work on it directly, but it is never a requirement.

Do you produce the reports for us?

No. We provide the measured data, as Excel, CSV, an API feed or an AI-ready package, and you produce the reports in the framework or tool you already use.

Can it handle multiple sites, regions and currencies?

Yes. Every site is measured on the same basis, and the data carries its site, region and currency, so a group report actually reconciles.

What about water, gas, fuel, gensets and solar?

All measured on the same platform, so water use, Scope 1 fuel, generator runtime and solar generation report off the same record as your grid electricity.

Do we need new meters?

Augos installs its own billing-accuracy meters at each point you want measured. That calibrated measurement is what makes the reported data defensible.
