Electricity is metered with the Augos Nova, built to IEC 62052-11 and IEC 62053-22 (Class 0.5S). Every meter is calibrated at manufacture, and a random 10% of each shipment is tested by an independent SANAS-accredited calibration laboratory in terms of SANS 474, traceable to the National Metrology Institute of South Africa.
What the billing run gives you

The tenant billing module applies each tenant's tariff rates to that tenant's measured consumption, time-of-use periods included, and reconciles the tenants' totals against the landlord's main meter. Full tariff charges on each tenant's own meter, not a share of the landlord's bill.

Who is tenant billing for?
Landlords and property managers of commercial and mixed-use property who pay the utility for the whole site and recover the cost from tenants.
How are tenants billed?
Each tenant's supply is sub-metered, and the billing run prices each tenant's measured readings for the period, so what you recover follows what each tenant used.
Does the landlord's own bill get checked too?
Yes. The same platform checks the landlord's Eskom or municipal bill against the main meter and the tariff, and shows whether the site is on the right tariff.
Which utilities can be billed?
Electricity, water, gas and fuel, each from the tenant's own sub-meter: the Nova meter on electricity, pulse sensors on water, gas and fuel. The tenant register shows each tenant's consumption per utility.
