Augos and AI

Ask AI about your measured data.

Download a report as an AI-ready file, or connect Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot to your Augos account and ask across every site. Either way, the answers come from the readings Augos measured on your sites.

Augos is an independent South African measurement company. It builds its own meters and sensors and runs one platform with three pillars: Augos Energy for energy management and bill verification, Augos Factory for OEE and downtime, with an owner on every minute lost, and Augos Sense for wireless sensors that alert you the moment a limit breaks.

For Augos clients: R450 a month per meter on Energy. From R4,950 per line per month on Factory. Ex VAT.

AI-ready files

The data on the page, in a file an AI app can read.

The file carries the figures the report shows, the measurement point and the period, and a short piece of guidance on what the fields mean, so the AI app does not have to guess. Every figure traces back to the meter it was measured on. The details are in each knowledge base: Energy, Factory and Sense.

Step 1

Open a report

Pick the site and the period as you normally would. The file holds what the page shows.

Step 2

Download the AI-ready file

Choose Download the AI-ready file in the banner at the top of the report, and accept the note on using AI safely.

Step 3

Ask your AI app

Upload the file to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and ask in plain words: when demand peaked, which stop cost the most time.

Connect your AI

Your AI app runs the Augos reports for you.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot once, and ask in plain words: what the main incomer cost last month, where line 2 lost its time, when the cold room door opened after hours. The app picks the report, runs it and answers from your own readings.

  • Signs in as you. You use your own Augos login and press Allow. There is no API key to manage.
  • Sees what you see. Every request is checked against your Augos access, point by point.
  • Only reads your data. A setting, a user or a record stays as it is. The one thing it can send is a support request in your name.

Your data, your rules

AI works inside the access you already have.

Whichever way you use AI, every figure it quotes comes from a report you can open in Augos and check yourself.

Your access

AI never widens who sees what.

An AI-ready file and a connected app both carry only the points your Augos login can see.

Your AI app

Choose a plan made for business data.

What you upload or ask goes to your AI app under its own terms. Use a business or enterprise plan that keeps your data out of model training, not a free consumer plan.

Your data

Augos stays as it is.

The file is a copy of what the report showed. A connected app reads; it does not change your readings, settings or users.
