1 · What it is

The Augos water level sensor

The Augos water level sensor measures liquid level from a pressure sensor placed at the bottom of a tank, dam, reservoir or river. It reports the level continuously to the cloud platform, calibration-free and magnetically mounted, and its readings can trigger an Augos switch for pump control.

2 · What it measures

A continuous level reading as a percentage or a depth, from which the platform derives high, low and average, time in and out of range, the longest and last breach, and a breach count. It feeds Level.

Reservoirs, tanks and dams, livestock drinking water, agricultural irrigation, and pump control, where a low level can trigger a switch. Common across Commercial & industrial and Agriculture.

Common questions

How does it work?

A pressure sensor at the bottom of the vessel infers the level of liquid above it.

What range does it cover?

From a percentage of a small tank up to 200 m of depth, by cable length.

Can it control a pump?

Yes. A low or high level can trigger an Augos switch to run or stop a pump.

How accurate is it?

To within ±2% of range.
