Augos Factory / For contract packers
For contract packers and co-manufacturers
Price each customer's run on what it actually used.
You carry other people's brands and your own costs. Augos Factory records every run by job and customer: run time, every stop including interruptions (short stops), changeovers between customers' products and rejects. With resource intensity, an optional extra, the site's kilowatt-hours per unit made sit beside that record.
Per customer run
Three numbers every quote needs
Time
Run, stops and changeovers
How long the run took, how much of it stood, and how long the changeover in and out took.
Output
Good units and rejects
Rejects entered at the line against the job, so yield is per customer, not per month.
Resources
Resource intensity
As an optional extra: the site's electricity, water, gas, steam and compressed air per unit made, including the pasteuriser, boiler and compressors behind the lines. A site figure, not a per-run one.
Changeovers from one customer's product to the next
Quote changeovers from what they really take
Every changeover is timed and split into the allocated time and the overrun, per changeover reason. When a customer's run means a full clean-down, you know how long that clean-down has actually taken, and can price it.
Quote from the typical time, not the allocated time. The time above the recommended time on each changeover is what a better method can win back.

Questions
For contract packers, answered
Can we share run records with our customers?
Yes. Each job exports to Excel or CSV, so you can send a brand owner the record of their run.
Can we report carbon per unit to a customer?
With resource intensity, carbon per unit is calculated for the site from metered data, per standard unit made. It uses the grid emission factor your reporting uses.
Our work is seasonal. Do we pay in the quiet months?
Only R350 per month, ex VAT, for a paused line. The sensor and the Augos Operator Terminal stay mounted, and every customer's record carries over. There is no new deployment fee when the season starts. Each line runs at least three months a year at the full R4,950. Pricing ›
We run many short jobs. Does that work?
Yes. Jobs can arrive preloaded from your ERP, so operators pick the next job in one tap.
