Floor display · optional extra for the floor and the meeting room
The andon board that shows why the line stopped.
The floor display is an andon board for your lines. A screen shows one line or several, as you prefer: run state, output against plan and the current stop, in the Augos Operator Terminal's own colours. Nobody waits for the morning meeting to find out the line is behind.

What it shows
Four things the floor needs to know
Running, against plan
Each line's state from the sensor, and units so far against the plan for this point in the shift.
The current stop, timed
Its reason and a clock from the moment it stopped. Until the stop threshold, a countdown shows when the operator will be asked why.
Planned stops, shown as planned
A changeover or a clean shows as a planned stop, with its reason and its clock.
Breakdowns, by stage
With maintenance calls: how long the line team checked, how long it has waited for a technician, and whether repair has started.
What an andon board is
An andon light says stopped. This board says why.
Andon comes from the Toyota Production System. It is a signal, often a light or a cord, that tells everyone a line needs help. An andon board shows that signal for every line on one screen.
A traditional andon light only says a line has stopped. The floor display adds why, for how long, and how far behind the shift is. The reason is the one the operator gave at the line.
The meeting room
Act on the shift while it is still running
Put a screen in the meeting room and your lines are live on the wall. Everyone sees which line has stopped, why and for how long, while there is still time to act.
