Augos Factory / Optional extras / Maintenance calls

Optional extra for maintenance managers

Every breakdown, timed from call to fix.

Operators call maintenance from the line. Technicians accept, scan in at the machine and close the job on their own phone or a rugged handheld we supply. Each breakdown shows how long it waited for a technician, how long the repair took and how long the repair stood still. You then know whether to fix dispatch, spares or skills.

One tap from the line

No radio, no phone call, no hunting for a technician. The clock starts the moment the operator presses call.

One timeline both teams agree on

How long the line stood before maintenance was called, how long it waited for a technician and how long the repair took. Production and maintenance stop arguing about whose minutes they were.

Two managers, one record

For the maintenance manager: times both sides agree on. For the production manager: no more chasing maintenance on the radio.

From the line to the technician

Every tap starts the next clock.

One illustrative breakdown, five taps. The terminal and the technician's phone or handheld show the same call at the same time.

1. The operator calls

The operator presses Request assistance on the terminal, then the teal tick. The call reaches the Assist app with the stop reason on it.

Operator Evaluation ends at 4 min. Technician Response starts.

What the stages tell you

Long waits, long repairs and long holds need different fixes

A stop takes one of two paths. If the operator clears it alone, it is Operator Resolution. If maintenance is called, it is Operator Evaluation and then the technician stages.

Reliability numbers, without a spreadsheet

MTTR and MTBF per machine and fault

Mean time to repair and mean time between failures are calculated from the timestamps, per machine and per fault, every day. They sit beside your CMMS work orders rather than replacing them.

Questions

Maintenance calls, answered

Does it replace our CMMS?

No. It makes your CMMS more accurate. Your CMMS knows when a work order was opened and closed. Augos records when the line stopped, when maintenance was called, when the technician arrived and when the line ran again. Through the Augos API, each stop can be linked to its work order, so MTTR and MTBF rest on downtime measured at the line.

Can we plan preventive maintenance on run hours?

Yes. The sensor counts the hours each line has actually run. Plants use that, with the breakdown history for each fault, to schedule preventive maintenance and wear-part changes on run hours rather than the calendar.

What do technicians have to do?

Accept the call, scan the QR code at the machine, and end the repair. Holding a repair is one more tap. We train technicians alongside operators.

Do we need the standard plan?

Yes. Maintenance calls extend the line record, so each line needs the sensor and terminal of the standard plan.
