Training your team

Two days on site, then operators run it alone.

Training starts after go-live, on the Augos Operator Terminal at the line. A few principles, a few basic steps, a printed guide, and a card for each moment.

Training is included in the R19,500 deployment fee · R4,950 per line per month, ex VAT

How operators learn

One page for every task.

Operators learn on their own terminal, with a printed guide and a card at the line. The terminal speaks in four colours.

An operator in a hairnet, safety glasses and a hi-vis vest taps the job screen on the Augos Operator Terminal mounted beside a food packing line.

The colour card

TealYes. Go on. Confirm.
PinkNo. Go back. A stop or a problem.
YellowChange it. Wait. Not urgent yet.
PurpleCall a technician.

The one rule to remember: the stop clock starts when the line stops, not when the operator touches the screen.

One page per task

Why, look, touch, check, problem

Every task in the guide has the same five parts. They are why you do it, what you see, what to press, how you know it worked and what to do if it goes wrong.

Signed off

Shown once, then done alone

The trainer shows each task once. The operator then does it alone while the trainer watches, and both sign the sheet, task by task.

At the line

A quick card for each moment

Seven A5 cards cover logging in, starting a job, a stop, a reason, asking for help and ending a job. One card, The line stops, is available to download.
