Data & integrations
How your data moves, where it's kept, who can see it, and how to get it out. Measured at the source, kept for years, and yours.
Augos hardware measures it at the source and the Augos platform runs the rest, so the data is clean at the source and open at the other end. Every reading is kept for at least five years, so a baseline holds from one year to the next, and it's reachable only by the people and systems you allow.
You can take it out in whatever form suits, a spreadsheet, a PDF, a JSON payload an AI agent can read, or a live API feed, and it stays yours: not sold or shared without your consent, with only anonymised and aggregated data used to improve the platform, and exportable throughout your contract. These pages cover each part of that, from how a reading reaches the platform to how you pull it back out.

Common questions
Who owns the data?
You do. The measurement data you collect is yours. Augos does not sell or share identifiable data without your consent, and uses only anonymised, aggregated data to improve the platform.
How do I get my data out?
As a file (CSV, Excel or PDF), as an AI-ready JSON payload a model can read directly, or live through the API.
How long is my data kept?
For at least five years. Your full history stays available through your contract, so a baseline holds from one year to the next.
Who can see it?
Only the people and systems you allow. Access is role-based and bound to the measurement point; see Roles & access.
Is it handled under POPIA?
Yes. Personal information is processed under the Protection of Personal Information Act; see POPIA & privacy for the full notice.
