Efficiency has a stack of frameworks, OEE, Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM. They work at different levels, but every one of them depends on the same thing on the floor: how well and how consistently people respond when a line stops. None of them measures that directly. That unmeasured human response is what Augos exists to see, which is why each page here ends with where the platform fits, honestly, including what it doesn't do.

What is manufacturing efficiency?

How much saleable output a line produces against what it could produce in the same time, running, at speed, at quality. OEE is the standard way to score it; Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma are the methods for improving it.

What's the difference between OEE and Lean?

OEE is a measurement, a single score for availability, performance and quality. Lean is a philosophy of removing waste. OEE tells you how much you're losing; Lean is one framework for winning it back.

Where does Augos fit?

Underneath all of them, as the measurement layer. It measures OEE the standard way and adds what the frameworks assume but rarely capture: the human response when a line stops, owned by name. Each page here ends with where Augos fits, and what it doesn't do.
