Pulse sensor

One small sensor is all the platform needs to count what the line does.

What it does

A sealed IP67 pulse sensor mounts onto the line and counts product as it passes, one counted pass at a time. It's a simple photoelectric or proximity sensor wired into one of the terminal's 12 V DC pulse inputs, with nothing tapped into your control system, so it installs in minutes and works on any machine, old or new, including ones with no PLC at all.

How it reads the line

Each pass of the machine, a bag sealed, a bottle capped, a stroke of the press, breaks the sensor's beam or triggers its proximity field, and that pulse is one counted cycle. From that raw count the platform derives running time, speed and every stop, to the second. Because the terminal has two pulse inputs, a single unit can watch two points on a line where needed.

Why non-invasive matters

Because it counts passing product rather than tapping your control system, there's no integration project, no risk to the line, and no dependence on a machine being modern enough to talk to. It's the foundation the whole loss account is built on: every figure traces back to the raw pulse this sensor records.
