What Augos Factory includes

Augos Factory is one offer for every line, with no tiers. It costs R19,500 once per line for deployment, plus R4,950 per line per month, both excluding VAT. Augos owns the hardware. The monthly fee covers every capability except the metrics that depend on Augos Assist, which is an optional extra.

One offer, one sensor

Every line gets the same pulse sensor and the same Augos Operator Terminal, and every line gets the same reports. There is no tier to choose. The terminal records every pulse, every stop and every operator declaration, and the platform analyses all of it. A plant starts with the offer as it stands and adds Augos Assist, or Public Display, only if it needs them.

What the monthly fee includes

The monthly fee includes every capability except the metrics that depend on Augos Assist. That covers standard OEE and the loss breakdown, the Executive Summary, Downtime Report, Shift Report and Job Card, the Planned Stoppage and Unplanned Stoppage analysis, the Performance Overview, Operator Analysis, the Best Operator Benchmark, owner attribution, and resource intensity reporting. Resource intensity is new: it reports how much of any resource a site uses per unit produced, and it is included. The standard plan also includes a free terminal replacement every 36 months and a one-year warranty. API access is included in the standard fee. The read-only MCP connector is on limited access; ask Augos about it.

What needs Augos Assist

Augos Assist adds the stages inside an unplanned stop: operator evaluation and resolution, technician response and wrench time. Without it, an unplanned stop is one number, still analysed by event, operator and product. Attribution then has no technician owner, the full resolution of a stop sits with the operator, and operator resolution percentage and the technician KPIs are not shown. Assist adds granularity to reports that are already in the standard fee; it does not decide whether you get them.

Deployment covers set-up, remote testing, two days of on-site operator training, four weekly one-hour data reviews and leadership training on the platform. Travel and subsistence for on-site training are not included. Augos owns the hardware, and the customer returns it when the agreement ends. The first 90 days cannot be cancelled; after that, cancellation needs one calendar month's notice. A line is live within 48 hours of the kit arriving. Where a customer has several lines the price per line falls; ask Augos.

Where to start

Before any demo, Augos first asks what you need to fix or prove on your line, so the demo answers your exact need and Augos can say honestly whether it can meet your expectations. You then see the parts of the platform that bear on your objectives, on demo data. If it fits, a full evaluation of your line follows.
