A report is behind the raw data (recalculate and recache)
Several reports are built from cached calculations rather than read live. When the cache lags, the report looks short or empty while the meter is perfectly healthy. The fix is a recalculate. On Cost Allocation you can trigger it yourself; elsewhere ask support@augos.io.
How to recognise it
The meter is online and Technical Analysis shows data right up to now, but one of these is short or blank:
- Time of Use stops several days before month end.
- Daily Time of Use has no records for last month.
- Cost Breakdown says the data is not yet available.
- Cost Allocation shows "No Data", or is missing some of the sub-sites.
- A custom-period tariff report including sub-points never appears.
If Technical Analysis is short too, this is not your problem. See My meter is offline.
Why it happens
Tariff and time-of-use reports are calculated and cached asynchronously rather than computed on demand. Anything that changes the inputs, loading a bill, a tariff update, a spike removal, a current transformer ratio change, means the cached result is stale until it is rebuilt. The rebuild is queued, and the queue does not always complete before someone goes looking.
Custom-period reports that include sub-points are asynchronous by design. They are not instant and the button can look as though it did nothing.
What to do
- Hard refresh first (Ctrl, Shift and R together).
- On Cost Allocation: you can rebuild it yourself, from the report's own three-dot menu. It is the single most useful self-service action in this whole category — see Cost Allocation is showing no data, or missing sub-sites.
- Everywhere else, email
support@augos.iowith the point and the period and ask for the point to be recalculated. It usually takes minutes. - Ask support to sweep the rest of your points at the same time. Customers report one point and several are usually affected.
Good to know
- Do not reset the meter. If the raw data is present, resetting achieves nothing.
- After a bill is loaded, give the cost reports time before concluding they are broken. If you need it now, use the Recalculate control.
- A bill verification that saved but shows no estimate figures needs the same treatment: recalculate, then reload the page.
- If this happens to you every month at the same point in your reporting cycle, say so. That is a pattern worth fixing rather than a ticket worth repeating.
Still stuck
Email support@augos.io with the point path, the report name and the period. Say
explicitly that Technical Analysis shows data for the same period, because that
tells support immediately which half of the system to look at.
