Cost Allocation is showing no data, or missing sub-sites

Open the report, click the three-dot menu and choose Recalculate. That pushes it to the front of the queue and rebuilds it immediately. This resolves most instances without contacting anyone.

Why it happens

Cost Allocation is built from tariff reports produced by Bill Verification, and those are cached asynchronously. When a bill is loaded, the cached result is stale until it is rebuilt, and the rebuild is queued. If you open the report before the queue reaches it, you see no data or a partial split. Waiting an hour to overnight should solve this but the Recalculate control exists.

What you will see

  • "No Data" for the month you have just verified.
  • Some sub-sites present and others missing.
  • The same thing happening every month, always just after a bill is loaded.

What to do

  1. Open Cost Allocation for the site.
  2. Select the month.
  3. Three-dot menu, then Recalculate.
  4. If it still comes back empty, email support@augos.io with the site and the month. Support can run the recalculation from the back end and email you the report.

If it happens every month

Say so. There are two things Augos can do that stop the monthly repeat: subscribe support to your site's bill verification notifications so the recache is pushed as soon as a bill lands, or take the bills by email and load and split them for you. Both remove the timing problem rather than working around it.

Good to know

  • The same three-dot menu carries the download control. See Pulling your Cost Allocation yourself.
  • If the split does not tally with the invoice, that is a different problem. Check you sent the right utility's invoice, and ask for the split to be re-run with the bill adjustment applied rather than reconciling by hand.

Still stuck

Email support@augos.io with the site name, the month, and whether Recalculate has been tried.
