Removing users and keeping your access list clean
Email support@augos.io with the names or email addresses of the people to remove. You can send a single name or a list. Removals are normally done the same morning.
What you will see
- Staff have left and their logins are still active.
- A site handover means one person's access should pass to another.
- An audit turns up accounts nobody recognises.
Why it happens
Users cannot remove themselves and account holders cannot remove users from the platform. All offboarding runs through support.
What to do
- Email
support@augos.iowith the list of people to remove. - If someone is being replaced rather than simply removed, say who is taking over and what they need, so both changes happen together.
- If you want to check your own list first, ask support for the users currently loaded against your site.
What Augos will do
Support removes the accounts and replies to confirm. They will normally invite you to send any further names you find.
Good to know
- If a person's email address has changed, that is an amendment to the existing profile, not a removal and re-add. Say so, and their access carries over.
- When a metered property changes hands, the new owner needs access, reports and a stated billing period set up. Flag a change of ownership early rather than at month end.
- Access removed for non-payment is a different thing and is handled by finance. See Access suspended on your account.
