Which page answers which question

The Dashboard is a daily snapshot. Consumption Breakdown shows energy over a period you choose. Technical Analysis is the one that gives you a custom period down to the minute, including demand in kilovolt-amperes (kVA) and the timestamp of each peak. Most "the platform will not do X" questions are answered by moving to the right page.

The two that get confused

Dashboard. Intended as a snapshot of daily data. It does not behave as a variable-period analysis tool, and selecting a week or a month on it will not give you what you expect. This is by design, not a fault.

Technical Analysis. Custom periods to the minute. Click the statistics option to see the timestamp of the peaks. This is the page to use whenever the question involves demand, a specific window, or when exactly something happened.

Consumption Breakdown sits between them: it honours a date range, but it reports energy, not demand, so kVA values are not on it.

Good to know

  • Technical Analysis carries most of the same charts as Charting, so if Charting is not giving you what you want, try Technical Analysis.
  • Technical Analysis does not refresh by itself. If you want a live shop-floor display, see Downloading your data for the workaround.
  • Some pages are optional features on an account. If a page in the table above is not in your menu, ask support@augos.io whether it is enabled for your site.

Still stuck

Email support@augos.io with the question you are trying to answer, not the page you are on. Support will point you at the right page and usually attach the report in the same reply.
